Brazil has hit oil in the gulf of Mexico and with our money. Obama gave them a loan worth 2 million for them to find oil.  He would not let the XL pipe line come down from Canada. The worst part of this is that most of that oil will be shipped to China. He will not let us drill in the Gulf of Mexico because of the a possible oil spill,  but what if their oil fields spill.  I am sure our shores will be just as much at risk.  If it is a large spill the oil will float all over the Gulf and who will have to clean it up.  I guess we will have to and, they will not have to pay for it either.

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky was stopped by security at the Nashville airport Monday when a scanner set off an alarm and targeted his knee, although the senator said he has no screws or medical hardware around the joint. (Jan. 23) (The Associated Press)

Rand Paul said “that he would go through the metal detector again”, and also picked up his pant leg to show the TSA agent. That there was no metal on his leg, but they insisted that he go through a pat down.  He was detained and missed his flight to Washington DC because of it.  He went to another air line, and went through security without any trouble, and got on the plane. I guess we have to give up all our right to fly today.  I can see the use of metal detector at air ports as okay but some of this other stuff that the TSA are doing is just crazy.  The price tag of the TSA for the American people  is getting out of hand.  This is just another expansion of the Federal Government.

Supreme court ruled that the police will need to get a search warrant to place a GPS tracking device on your car to track you.  I hope that this is a little look into the future, as to how the Supreme Court, will rule on things that have to do with our privacy.  We have been losing ground a little at a time, so this is a major ruling for the people.  A search warrant is something that the police can get without any trouble, if they have any proof, that you are doing anything wrong.  They should not be able to pick out and track just anyone they want.

Let’s keep this in mind that we need our privacy to stay private as long as we can. It is going to be hard with all the computers that can track us in many ways.  They track our cell phones, credit cards, and many other devices  that we own. Keeping them as private as we can is very important to all of us.
